One last Hurrah

Jackson and I went camping with some friends in Pawtuckaway State Park last night. We had the campground to ourselves which was nice. We camped right along the water, which Jackson was thrilled about because it meant an endless supply of rocks to throw in the water! We went on a nature hike and Jackson ran the entire time. It was going great until Jackson for some reason decided to rub sand in his face. Crying and screaming continued for some time- which included sand filled tears and snot. Poor kid! As usual Jackson was a champ sleeping in the tent. I was a little on the cold side but he didn't seem to be bothered at all. We decided with we would make this camping trip an annual event- the first Saturday after Halloween. Makes me wish I had been able to get off my butt and take Jackson camping a few more times this past summer . . . . but now we are gearing up for snow and winter fun. Next summer we are definitely going camping more often and everyone is welcome to join us!

The next few pictures are not from camping but they a too cute not to share. Lately Jackson has been way into playing with flour on the counter. He "cooks" things and also drives his tractor through it. He makes a huge mess but it's worth it.
